SPARK Logistics and Arkan Logistics sign framework agreement to advance Saudi-Oman cargo connectivity

Advancing logistics connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Oman

SPARK Logistics has signed a Commercial Framework Agreement with Arkan Logistics LLC, operator of the dry port in the bonded zone in Sohar, Oman, to establish a framework for moving transit cargo between SOHAR Port and the Dry Port at King Salman Energy Park(Spark) through a secure Green Land Corridor.

The planned corridor is designed to facilitate cargo movement between Oman and Saudi Arabia, improve the efficiency of logistics and customs procedures, and reduce transit and clearance times.

The collaboration is supported by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services and coordinated with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), reinforcing efforts to develop more efficient cross-border trade routes and strengthen regional supply chain connectivity.

SAL Saudi Logistics Services and FedEx were also present at the signing ceremony, reflecting broader collaboration among logistics stakeholders involved in enabling regional cargo flows.

The agreement advances SPARK Logistics’ strategy to strengthen trade connectivity between ports, industrial centers and regional markets, while creating more flexible routes for cargo moving across Saudi Arabia, Oman and the wider GCC.
